All our facilitators and counselors are independent operators of their own businesses utilizing the Mars Venus workshop materials we provide to them. We do not provide marketing materials. We do have specific regulations on the use of the Mars Venus Logos and the Mars Venus name and titles we give you.

Dr. John Gray established the Mars & Venus Counseling Centers in 1996 out of a desire to personally meet and work with each reader, viewer, or listener in his audience. As a Mars & Venus Counseling Center®, your practice will have new opportunities to flourish. Every person who picks up one of Dr. Gray's books, cassettes, or videos has an interest in and a need for developing relationship skills and improving communication with the opposite sex. No matter how helpful the insights in a book, tape, or seminar may be, they cannot replace therapy and counseling.
The Mars & Venus Counseling Center Licensee Program is open to licensed mental health professionals in private practice who provide one-on-one and/or group counseling services. The counselor training is an in-depth training course covering the specific principles and approaches of Dr. Gray's therapeutic work. The counselor training takes place via tele-classes and personal one-on-one calls with a Mars Venus supervisor.
This program also provides the counselor with monthly peer supervision phone bridge calls with our clinical director. John Gray may administer these calls on a quarterly basis.

Are you a dynamic outgoing person? Has the Mars Venus material had a dramatic effect on your own life experience, or that of someone you know? Are you comfortable knowing it will take you 2-3 years of hard to work to get your new business off the ground? You should be comfortable asking people to face what is uncomfortable for them. Remember, you can change people's lives. Also remember, that people are uncomfortable with change.
Our programs stand on their own; they improve relationships by improving the participants’ ability to communicate effectively. Because it will be your responsibility to market this aspect of your business, we are looking for candidates who have a business or marketing background and have effective public speaking skills. Of course, you must also have a working knowledge of the Mars Venus material and be confident that it has helped your life in some way - your communication skills with the opposite sex, your relationships, your thinking, etc.
Qualifications
Our successful applicants are dynamic outgoing individuals who have a strong desire to help individuals and couples learn and grow in love using Dr. Gray's Mars Venus material. The Mars Venus material has had a dramatic effect on their own lives, or that of someone they know.
We accept applications from individuals who have some or all of the following qualifications:
1) Self-motivated and enthusiastic
2) Previously or currently successfully self-employed
3) Experienced speakers
4) Experienced coaches
5) Dynamic out-going personalities
6) Previous marketing experience
7) Determined you have the necessary skills to be successful independent workshop facilitators or counselors
8) Must be fully licensed in the state you intend to practice in and must provide documentation to verify licensure annually.
Application Procedures
